In week 7 we did a lock down Creations Number four. We had diffrent tasks for our reading,math and writing tumble. We also did art this week. We made an art with our foot print and hand print. My favourite activity in reading was listening to stories on sun shine classics. For  writing we did creative writing my story was about a soccer field. school was awesome this week.

Lock down Diary

During the COVID - 19 lock down period Te Waka Ako, worked on the lock down diary and we had to write about life in lock down and how we were feeling. A lock down Diary is a slide show of what we are feeling in lock down.We also had to write about random things like, what we had for dinner and there was a slide that we could write anything we wanted. The slide I really liked was the one were we can write anything we want. I liked it because I could write about SOCCER.

Our first day at school after 13 weeks in lock down.

Lock down was pretty all right.

We had a choice boards for reading writing and math and sience.

I really enjoyed my making a thank you card for my mum and dad.

Athletics Day

This is a  photo of our school in age groups. Today is our Athletics Day, that is why we are not in school clothes.

We had activities like

• sprints 100m, 200m and 400m
• relays
• high jump
• long jump
• shot put

My favourite was the relays. I was in the relays for Tui, my house.

Pasifika Art Center

In this photo we are making Leis.

This is how we do it:
You put a flower then a straw in the string and repeat that and keep on going untill you get to the end and then you have tie it all together.

After the leis we went to the entertainment room to do some drumming.

Before we did that, we listened to stories from the parents and teachers of what they did when they were little... our age!

After that we did some drumming, every signal one of us got to do it so that it will be fair.

litter Blitz
