Matariki

HELLO BLOGGERS 

Today I will be blogging about Matariki.Matariki is  when friends and family gather and have a party for the mori new year. In my Manukau for Matariki in the first class we made fried bread and we had a choice of GOLDEN SYRUP or NUTELLA I chose syrup in the next class we had to get playdo and try to make a story and then we video it with stop motion in the next class we made kits with bamboo sticks and we used the hot glue gun to put the together and we used some paper straps to to draw patterns and glue it on too.

CROSS COUNTRY

yesterday we had our cross country at our school. We had 6 station, the first one we had a choice of chess or cricket  or you could play in the playground ,the next station  was tennies so  we had to get a buddy and then one of us had to go on each side and if I hit the ball and my buddy hit it back, we had to take a step back. Then we had hand ball and in hand ball we had to hit the ball in the square  then it has to got to the other persons squre but if I hit it and it hit the ground 2 times then I will be out and I will  have to wait in line. then we take the ran so we did a little strech to get our bodys going then we played a game it was duck duck gose then we chered for the runners then it was our tern  the boys went first when they said go I raced down the chrack and when we finshed I came 9th and last year I came 11th so it is a little improve ment.
